MAC's newest collection - Strength
"I am woman: fearless, elegant, strong. We love women who strike powerful poses, stand out, redefine the notion of beauty – and do it with an inner/outer strength that`s irresistible and impossible to ignore. Colour is a vehicle for women to flex their femininity and MAC`s new collection reflects this state of mind and style"
As we’re coming up on 2013, now more than ever are women bending, shaping, and redefining the definition of femininity. In a world that’s not always understanding, kudos to you MAC for recognizing all the hard work!!! So awesome!
A foul mouthed girl with a big fucking heart. I've got a lot to say, maybe you should listen.

Fear.
I can't even explain how many times fear has stopped me from doing something that I wanted to do. So many times I've gotten anxiety about how much anxiety I have. But then I look back on my life thus far and I think that for someone "suffering" from anxiety I've done pretty damn well for myself.
The city that I've recently moved to in California consists almost entirely of natives who like to tell me on a regular basis how odd it is that I've ended up here all the way from Massachusetts. Little do they know how happy it makes me to be reminded.
My memory is quite faulty. It's easy for me to forget things that I'm capable of.
But in all reality, deep down, I know I'm capable of anything.
Just like anyone else is capable of anything.
This life is too short not to realize this. And we read it everywhere. We read it on our social networks in different fonts and filters and in different wording, but it all comes down to this one thing: this is it. This is all you have.
Tomorrow is never a given. We just happen to think it is and we drown out the sound of our gut that tells us what we know we should do or see or be. We drown out our gut with doubts and we forget just how fucking amazing WE ARE.
We are untouchable and we spend most of our lives avoiding the acceptance of this.
But the fact still remains that we are.
That you are.

Movember.
So blogging, huh? This will be sort of my first one. Real one anyway. Kind of a blogging virgin. I had, well, have a tumblr. But I mean, fuck, do those even qualify as blogs? I mean it can be but I think of it more of just a huge recycling site. There aren't that many original ideas coming from there. At least not from my mine anyway. Fuck, am I too old for Tumblr?
Blogging. Do I have to make a separate one if I want to be all comedic and shit? Or can I keep the sappy AND the funny together? Is there enough space in ONE blog to even contain how funny I am?
My blog rules already. Hard.
To me this picture is goddamn perfect for this month. Apparently some people might not agree and those are the people who NEED more of this going on in their lives.
Happy Movember! You raise that money with all that sexy facial hair going on! Oof.

Poetry from the past.
I think we should meet...
Meet in the middle.
I'll push you a bit and you'll laugh.
We'll look up and realize how small we are, yet how much we matter.
I'll love you with every atom. Every color that appears on your skin is pure beauty.
Lop-sided from left to right, just like the rest of us. Perfect height to tilt my head back and show you what you've been missing.
We'll go somewhere we've never been and look at each other with a new appreciation for what we are and what we have to give.
This is all my imagination.
This is my wish.
I daydream the day away with thoughts of understanding and showing love in a new way.
I'm here to be yours.
I'm here to listen and laugh.
I'm here to cry and let my shirt get wet as well.
My mind is open.
One of us needs to step outside the box...
I'll go first and look back to see if you might follow.

Such an odd girl
I mess with the lights in rooms because I don't like the way certain lighting makes me feel. I don't like to wear sunglasses for the same reason. I've been feeling for so long that I just need to start writing things down or else my head just might fucking explode.
